Short Bio
I am an RTDB researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Perugia, specialising in Mathematical Physics (MATH-04/A).
My work focuses on Applied Mathematics, particularly the development of mathematical approaches to understanding complex living systems. I investigate systems where individual dynamics—whether vehicles in traffic, learning agents, or social interactions—generate collective patterns.
My recent co-authored monograph
This monograph explores how mathematical models based on active particle methods can help interpret the dynamics of complex economic systems. Focusing on behavioural economics, it highlights the role of mathematical tools in modelling real-world phenomena, such as price evolution in heterogeneous populations, and opens new avenues for future research at the intersection of mathematics and economics.
